Dr. Mastura Mahamed, Ph.D., is an Inclusive Communication Specialist, Academician, Media Practitioner, Researcher, and advocate of Inclusion. She serves as a Senior Lecturer in Communication at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). With expertise in journalism, participatory media, and public relations, she conducts qualitative research and analysis across various organizations. Mastura's commitment extends to community empowerment, particularly for individuals with disabilities, given her personal experience with cerebral palsy. Her broad spectrum of mass communication experience, including training and disability inclusivity, has shaped her focus on communication training, leadership, media literacy, journalism, and convergence. She has served as a PR officer and researcher, contributing to both government and private sectors before her academic journey. She is also currently the Vice President of Cerebral Palsy Malaysia.
