Sasibai Kimis left a successful finance career to found Earth Heir in 2013, an award-winning impact enterprise championing ethical craftsmanship. Earth Heir empowers artisans from marginalized communities, refugees, and the differently abled, preserving disappearing heritage art forms while advocating fair trade and sustainability. The brand is B-Corp and WFTO Fair Trade certified.
Sasi was named one of Wharton’s “40 under 40” (2015), an Eisenhower Fellow (2015), an Asia21 Young Leader (2017), and a Vital Voices Fellow (2019). She also received the NFTC "Trade Leadership for the Digital Age" Award (2020) and the Tatler Hero Award (2020).
Previously, she held leadership roles at Khazanah Nasional, First Avenue Partners, and Lehman Brothers. She holds a B.S. in Economics from Wharton and an M.Phil in Environment & Development from Cambridge. A sought-after speaker, she has spoken globally at TEDx, universities, and industry forums.
